History

1968 Foundation of the company ANGLÈS TEXTIL, S.A. for the texturing of continuous filament yarn for fashion and the home.
1972 Creation of PROCESFIL, S.A.: package-dyeing plant.
1979 Joint Venture with TORCIDOS ROMA, S.A. The ANTEX group starts operating on the twisted yarn market.
1984 Antex begins operating in the automobile sector.
1987 Creation of DECOLSA: warp-sizing plant.
1992 Acquisition of HISITEX, S.A., a plant located in Igualada (Barcelona), thus doubling the company’s production capacity.
1993 Establishment of ANTREL A.I.E.: cogeneration plant.
1995 ANTEX obtains ISO 9002 certification.
1996 Start of the continuous filament yarn spinning process.
2000 Establishment of ANTEX Ltda.: new plant in Facenda do Rio Grande, Curitiba (Brazil), addressed to the MERCOSUR market.
2001 The European plants obtain ISO/TS 16949 certification.
2003 The European plants obtain ISO 14001 certification, and the Brazil plant is certified with ISO/TS 16949.
2005 Start of the filament yarn extrusion process and increase in texturing and twisting capacity in Brazil.
2006 Establishment of the post-industrial and post-consumer waste recycling plant.
2008 Master Batch production and development plant.
2009 Gas cogeneration plant. Microturbines.
2010 Establishment of ANTEXTEXTIL SA de CV in Tlaxco (Mexico), addressed to the NAFTA and CAFTA markets.
